MISSION THROUGH PURPOSE
We are passionate to see people engage in the mission of Indian Creek by engaging their purpose. Each week, hundreds of people, like you, use their gifts and time to invest in a meaningful place of service. Whether that is greeting a new family, leading worship from our main stage, or helping make Jesus come alive to our kids, each person serving is making a difference at Indian Creek.
We know you are busy and there are lots of things to compete for your time, but we also know you’ll engage in meeting new people and your relationship with Jesus will grow when you start serving. Browse through these great serving teams below and let us know which one you would be excited to join.
CreekKids Jr. and CreekKids Elementary exists to lead kids birth – 5th grade to experience real life in Jesus in a fun, age-appropriate environment. If you are passionate about children, enjoy telling others about Jesus in fun and creative ways, or have a desire to disciple the next generation, there are plenty of places to plug in. Opportunities are available on Sunday mornings and during mid-week gatherings.
Kairos is specifically designed to connect middle school and high school youth with Jesus and teach them to live their faith. Through worship, teaching, and small groups, our volunteers engage in building relationships with our youth and encourage them to become disciples who make disciples. If you have a passion for our teens, you could engage in serving them on Sundays or during their mid-week gatherings.
The Guest Care team is all about helping people feel welcome, known, and loved. Whether that is opening a door, serving up a warm drink in the café, or organizing an event to welcome our new families, our volunteers are excited to provide radical hospitality. Opportunities exist before, during and after the Sunday Gathering and for special events.
The Care Team provides care and support to those in our church community during seasons of challenge or change. Likewise, prayer partners are the heart of our church, interceding for the needs of our congregation and teaching people the pursuit of God through prayerful disciplines. If you enjoy helping people in our church community feel loved and supported during their time of need, or have a heart to pray for others, this may be a next step for you.
The communications department exists to make the vision and mission of Indian Creek Community Church loud and clear by sharing the story of God’s work in and through our church on various channels. Whether you are a social media guru, enjoy storytelling, have a gift or passion for photography or graphic design, there is a place to direct your talents.
tech & production
The production team helps deliver a dynamic and distraction-free service environment. Lights, camera, sound, and stage are all important elements of creating a great atmosphere for people to engage in the Sunday gatherings. If you consider yourself creative, technically savvy, or detail-oriented, this could be a great place to serve. Training is offered so no prior experience is needed.
Worship Arts is a community of artists, worship leaders, and musicians whose primary mission is to lead people to experience real life in Jesus. As a church community, we believe that God never changes, but when we worship Him, we do. If this resonates with you, perhaps you’d like to be a part of our worship arts crew helping lead in our main Sunday Gatherings (either English or Spanish) or in our CreekKids or Kairos environments.
