Spring LEARNING COMMUNITIES

Learning Communities are university-like classes offered on Sunday mornings from 9-10am around a variety of subjects that correlate with the mission and values of our church.

ADULT LEARNING COMMUNITIES

+THE BOOK OF FIRST CORINTHIANS

An in-depth look at Paul’s letter to the Corinthian Church

The Christians who lived in first-century Corinth in many ways are not dissimilar from us today. They too struggled and needed guidance on how to change and grow to become more like Christ. Be a part of this ten week expositional Bible Study as we walk through the book of First Corinthians verse by verse, chapter by chapter, and gain a vision for how to avoid their painful mistakes and embrace the fullness of life that God has for us as His people and church.

While we have ten core learning community classes that repeat, from time to time we will host special “elective” type classes that allow you go deeper into a topic or book of the Bible. This is our first class of this type! Whether you are looking for a pure Bible study, are seeking structure in your midweek for helping you to read your Bible consistently, are just getting started on reading the Bible for yourself, or are craving to go deeper into scripture than reading at surface level, this class will be perfect for you.

+EMOTIONALLY HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS

If Emotionally Healthy Spirituality is all about discipleship that deeply changes your relationship with God, Emotionally Healthy Relationships is all about discipleship that deeply changes your relationships with others. This class provides you with eight practical skills that help you to love others as mature followers of Jesus. It will give you new tools, new language, and new strategies to break through relational roadblocks. This class is of benefit for all individuals, not just married couples. However, we encourage married couples to attend together.

Emotionally Healthy Relationships Workbook and Devotional is required for $20. A couple can purchase an additional EHR Workbook for $12. You must register and pay online by March 12th to receive your books on the first day of class, March 17th. If you register after March 12th you will have your book the following week. +FOUNDATIONS

Jesus said that if you build a strong spiritual foundation, you will be able to withstand any storm that life may bring your way. He says that this type of foundation can only be built by hearing His words and putting them into practice. Foundations is designed to help you do both. Foundations is all about what every Christian should not only know and believe, but also embrace and live. This class will lead you from knowledge towards experience in twelve key areas of your faith. These twelve conversations are centered on some of the most important aspects of Christian discipleship.
