WHAT IS CREEKKIDS?
Creekkids is the children’s ministry at Indian Creek Community Church created especially for children K - 5th grades. At CreekKids, we desire to facilitate the growth of every child that God has entrusted to our care. We have one goal: to do everything in our power to ensure that our children know there is a God who loves and cares for them deeply and that in response to this truth, they would desire to show this same love and care to the world around them.
Each Sunday morning and through midweek groups, our children have the opportunity to learn about God and experience His love through programs specifically tailored to their unique developmental stage. We understand that FUN is the language of children, and so we employ creative mediums into our lessons which always include the teaching of Scripture, a “main point,” prayer, and discussion.
We are high in energy, big on love, and lavish with encouragement as we lead our children to experience real life in Jesus.
Every Sunday, our elementary aged children grow spiritually and relationally through fun activities, Bible stories, games, worship, and arts and crafts. We aim to allow children to use all five senses to engage during every CreekKids gathering.
YOUR FIRST VISIT
When you walk into our building, look for the CreekKids Check-In Station. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room.
We will ask for the following personal information: family members' names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number, and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your child.
how check-in works
To check your child into his or her classroom, you may check in your child at any available self check-in station, or come to the check-in desk. After finding your child’s name in the database, you and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.
