Gardner Campus Pastor
Anything you want to share about family or educational background: They say never to make more than one major transition in life at the same time. Rarely one for conventional wisdom, I chose to take three transitions head-on in early summer 2002. Within a few weeks, I graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from KU, married the woman of my dreams, and made a vocation shift from engineering to ministry. One of the most exciting stretches of my entire life! Sarah and I are now the proud parents of two amazing boys: Jonathan and Caleb; and two beautiful daughters: Hannah and Rebekah. We are passionately embracing the life that God has given us to live!
What is the driving force behind why you do what you do: Jesus has absolutely changed my life! His grace and mercy have changed me from the inside out. Because of who He is and what He's done in me, I will give every day to helping people find their way back to God.
If you had to leave this job/ministry today and couldn't return, what would you miss: The people and the impact. More than anything I would miss the people that I have the privilege of serving and partnering with. Similarly, I would miss the opportunity to see the future impact that God is going to unleash on the world through this community of faith.
What do you love most about God: The transformational power of His grace.
If you had 30 seconds in an elevator and someone said, "Tell me about you," what would you say: I am a devoted husband and loving father of four wonderful children; I am passionate about helping others discover the richness of God and the life that He has for each of us to live.
