Dealing with a Crisis
A crisis can come in many shapes and sizes. If you are experiencing a crisis in your life, the following steps may be helpful to you. While we do not provide professional counseling services, we do have on-call pastors who are available to pray with you and provide care as needed. To reach the on-call pastor, dial 913.829.0712, ext. 4201.
If you are thinking of hurting yourself or others:
- Call to speak with someone who can help.
- Call if you feel you might be in danger of hurting yourself
- Call to find referrals to mental health services in your area.
- Call to speak to a crisis worker about someone for whom you are concerned.

Addiction?
- Alcoholics Anonymous groups are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
- Olathe Women's A.A. Group meets Wednesdays and Fridays at Noon. If you have a desire to stop drinking, Alcoholics Anonymous can help. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety. You are welcome! Group meets in Room 017. For more information, call Rebecca at 913.481.3119.
