Our Story
Once upon a time, in 1984, seven families dreamed of a church in their own community where they could help neighbors and friends find their way back to God. These families envisioned a church that would reach those who were spiritual seekers.
The church grew slowly and steadily as friends, neighbors, co-workers, and relatives became part of the church family. Over the next 10 years, 1986 – 1996, Indian Creek met in three different schools, launched a church, a learning center, and a counseling center, and grew to 500 people. Then the building began.
Since 1997 Indian Creek Community Church has resided on Black Bob Road in Olathe. We've launched more churches and more ministries. We've partnered with churches and organizations throughout our city and across the globe. We've helped hundreds of people find their way back to God and live out His love.
