Meet Pastor Gary
Gary Kendall is the founding and Lead Pastor of Indian Creek Community Church.
"I live to help people find their way back to God and grow to be like Christ. I want others to find the love, purpose, and forgiveness I've found. What I love most about God is the amazing, incredible 'both/and' of grace and justice."
Gary's passion for helping people find their way back to God and for planting and developing churches that do the same is his driving passion.
Under his leadership Indian Creek has grown from a home Bible study to a multi-site church where, on any given Sunday, you will find 900 – 1,100 people gathered for worship on the two campuses. At the same time, Indian Creek may be better known for the outreach that happens every day of the week and in places other than the Olathe facility or the Gardner Campus meeting site.
Gary has authored a Bible study The Path to Power and with Belinda wrote a devotional guide, The Call to Love. Gary leads a church planting network of 25+ churches through Healthy Growing Churches. His love for missions led him to serve as the President for Project Partner, a ministry to touch hearts and transform communities in China.
"Belinda, my wife, is the love of my life. We love doing life and ministry together. My family is great fun, and I love them dearly. Josh and Kristen Levitt live in Olathe. Jeremy, Jesi, grandson Landon, and granddaughter Morgan Kendall live in Gardner. Luke and Rachel Kendall live in the Chicago area."
