Students

Indian Creek’s burning passion is to help people find their way back to God. In our student community, our passion is similar: to help students and families find their way back to God. We recognize that finding one’s way back to God is much like a journey instead of arriving at a destination. We invite students to join a life-long journey of following Christ. Together with the guidance of parents and caring adult leaders, students in our community navigate through their adolescence in pursuit of becoming Christ followers. We practice faith by loving God, loving people, and living out our love for God with acts of kindness, compassion, and justice.

Loving God is a whole-life endeavor, not just something students do at church. While a vital part of loving God is coming together as a community for worship and teaching, this is only one piece of the whole picture. We help students find ways to love God through vibrant and personal practices of faith that don’t just stay in the head but move to the heart and eventually to the hands and feet. In other words, loving God compels us to love other people and to live out that love in our world. We invite students to partner with God’s mission of bringing healing and restoration to our broken world.
