Multisite Cause

God has given Indian Creek the vision to reach more than 5,000 people with the Gospel of Jesus. We can accomplish this through launching neighborhood churches...20 by 2020. Gardner is just the first.

In 2010 we will...
-Feed local school children during the summer who would otherwise go hungry.
-Meet needs in the community through food drives, minor home repair, and other initiatives.
-Select the next Indian Creek campus location and begin preparing for launch in 2011.

Gardner Campus

The Gardner Campus, led by Pastor Ben Stears, launched with Easter services in April 2009. Services take place weekly at Wheatridge Middle School at 10:30am. We continue to see new faces. Currently, we have roughly 75% of the Gardner congregation involved in Community Groups. The most vivid growth and development of campus members is happening there. We continue to make intentional efforts to reach out to the Gardner community. We hosted a city-wide food drive in August, participated in the Church Has Left the Building and sent an all city mailing in September, and hosted Trunk or Treat in October. We continue to invest in the work of the Gardner Multi-Service Center which houses a food pantry. The GMSC is the only organization in Gardner and Edgerton dedicated to meeting the tangible needs of those communities. Our outreach efforts are making a difference. We were invited to participate closely with the Mayor’s Christmas for Children program (with the potential for direct involvement with the Mayor’s office in 2010), and have been sought out by the local Rotary Club to help with some of their work. Future plans include: participation in the Mayor’s Christmas for Children through child and family sponsorship, distribution of free hot chocolate at the Mayor’s Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony (which is highly attended), and hosting a free pancake breakfast for the community on Sunday, 12/27. How can you partner with Ben and the team to live out in Gardner?

New Campus Launch
Indian Creek will form a launch team, identify the leader, and the location of the next campus in 2010. Start up costs for the new campus will be approximately $50,000 in 2010. It takes approximately $250,000 to fund a campus for a year. Pray and dream with us about what that new campus might look like. How can you be part of helping people find their way back to God?
